More Gizmo-links for you
Here are a few more links to pages specifically dealing with particular tech-toy topics. Like the sites listed in my last posting below, these are informational sites, not sales pages, with a good deal of basic information collected in one place so you can educate yourself before spending your money.
Apple iphone
Personal Digital Assistant (pda)
Security Cameras
Remember, always educate yourself first. Don't leave yourself at the mercy of salespeople and advertising.

Some Links to Get You Started
Here are some links to websites specifically dedicated to some of the most sought-after tech topics. These are not sites selling tech products, they are informational sites that can give you a good basic background knowledge. Specific model numbers referenced may not be the latest hot gadgets and some of this material may be a year or two old, but the information presented is solid and all of these sites also make outside resources readily available.
Happy reading!
Why We're Here
Everybody can't be an expert on the latest technological gizmos.
Everybody (or somebody in everybody's circle of family and friends) wants or needs or simply can not live without the latest technological gizmos.
Some of this stuff is just too darned expensive to go out and buy it without at least knowing a little something about it. It's a bitter lesson to learn by going out, buying some expensive piece of electronics gear, and THEN finding out that it really isn't quite what you wanted. It also sucks to find out you paid for bells and whistles you can't even imagine ever having a use for, and that a less expensive model would have served you just as well, AFTER you've bought it.
Nobody who contributes to this blog claims to be an expert on any of these things, and our purpose is not to provide you with definitive, authoritative technological information. What we hope to accomplish here is to accumulate, in one place, enough reliable basic information on a variety of "tech-toy" topics to get you started. We hope to provide you enough information and knowledge so you will know what questions to ask, and what issues to research further, before you go out and blow a bunch of money on the wrong gadget.
